Artist story

Precision in the mind. Instinct in the music.

Two disciplines, several instruments and one belief: the most interesting future is built by connecting worlds that rarely meet.

DJ BiswarupPortrait / 2026

The artist behind the sound

Biswarup has always moved between systems and soul.

A computer scientist and AI professional by training. A multi-instrumentalist and electronic artist by instinct.

His musical foundation begins with Indian bamboo flute, learned under Pandit Sudip Chattopadhyay. Saxophone and guitar widened that language; a diploma in Sound Production & Design from the Dutch Dance and Music Academy gave it an electronic architecture.

Today those strands meet in live performances that pair Afro House with saxophone and melodic trance with Bass E flute—precise enough to hold a room, open enough to let something unexpected happen.

Root Element / Manifesto

“The root is not behind us.
It is material for the future.

A non-linear journey

Every discipline
changed the sound.

01Roots

Indian bamboo flute

Classical training created a relationship with breath, phrasing and melodic patience.

02Craft

Sound production

Formal studio study turned musical instinct into arrangement, sound design and technical control.

03Stage

Live instrumentation

Saxophone, flute and decks became one performance language rather than separate features.

04Now

Root Element Project

An evolving exploration of Indian melody inside Afro House, melodic trance and progressive electronics.

01 / DAY

AI & data

Systems thinking, architecture and governance sharpen the way Biswarup listens, structures and builds.

02 / NIGHT

Music & motion

The dancefloor demands the opposite skill: presence, intuition and the courage to change direction instantly.

The work lives
in the tension
between both.
