About

The Artist Behind
The Sound

DJ Biswarup is two things at once — a data and AI professional by training, and a multi-dimensional music artist by soul. That duality shapes everything he creates: precise yet spontaneous, technically refined yet emotionally honest.

A graduate in Computer Science and a Diploma holder in Sound Production & Design from the Dutch Dance and Music Academy, Biswarup brings both academic rigour and hands-on craftsmanship to his music. He learned Indian Bamboo Flute under the guidance of the legendary Pandit Sudip Chattopadhyay — a classical foundation that runs as a quiet thread through everything he produces. He also plays saxophone and guitar, and performs live sets that are truly unlike anything else on a stage.

Live, Biswarup takes it further than most DJs dare. He performs Afro House with live saxophone, and Melodic Trance with Bass E Flute — genres that already move crowds, now elevated with the warmth and unpredictability of live instrumentation.

That vision is crystallising in his upcoming Root Element Project — a creative exploration of where ancient Indian musical roots meet the modern dancefloor. Follow along on all platforms to be part of the journey.
